Our Level 3 Certificate in Teaching, Training and Assessment is aimed at individuals working in a learning and development role, such as assessors or trainers, who are required to deliver teaching or training and assess skills, knowledge and understanding in the workplace, workshops, classrooms and other training environments.

A huge benefit of this qualification is that you don’t currently be teaching or training and will enable you to teach, train & assess qualifications.

How it Works

here are 2 sections to gaining this qualification –

1. Complete the Level 3 Certificate in Teaching, Training and Assessment Workbook

2. Develop & deliver two observed microteaching sessions (which will be video recorded), it must be a minimum of 30 minutes for each session, to a minimum of 4 learners

Your topic is your own personal choice

A range of methods are used including practical (Micro teaching) and questioning. This will include peer feedback, teacher observation and a self-assessment report. As well as demonstrate competence in the teaching and delivery of the course.

Evidence can include: -

• assignments/projects/reports
• worksheets
• portfolio of evidence
• record of oral and/or written questioning
• candidate test papers

Important stuff

There are no formal entry requirements for the qualification; however, you must be able to demonstrate that you can meet the skills, knowledge and experience requirements of the qualification before enrolment. This will be done via ‘Skill Scan’ to confirm your suitability for the course prior to being accepted.

You must have good written and spoken English

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) could be used to meet evidence requirements if the evidence is current and valid (less than two years old)

You will also need access to a computer/ laptop and must have the capabilities to access our e-portfolio and have a Zoom account with a stable Internet connection

You have 2 Years to complete the qualification. The average completion time 3 months but can be completed in as little as 4 weeks.
