Level 3 NVQ Occupational Work Supervision

Our NVQ courses are delivered online as distance learning. You will receive your own dedicated account manager who can be contacted by email or phone for help, advice and to answer any questions you might have. You will also receive access to a personalised e-portfolio with a percentage indicator to track your progression throughout the course.

Our Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision qualification is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. It provides you with a nationally recognised qualification for those who supervise others in a relevant occupational area to demonstrate their competence in the construction industry. This qualification is suitable supervisors responsible for any construction related trade such as carpenters, bricklayers & plumbers.

This NVQ provides you with a formal recognition practicing as a trade supervisor.

A huge benefit of this qualification is that upon successful completion you will be able to apply for a CSCS Gold Skilled Workers Card.

Once enrolled onto our qualification you will be able to apply for the Red Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager CSCS card right. This card is issued on a temporary basis and demonstrates that you are working towards an NVQ. The card is valid for three  year and cannot be renewed and you must also have passed the appropriate level CITB Health, safety and environment (HSE) test within the last two years.

Progression

A natural progression from this course would be a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision course which upon completion would lead to a Gold CSCS Card

How it Works

You will be given access to a personalised e-portfolio which will have a % indicator to track your progression and introduced to your Account Manager who will be available by email or phone.

This qualification is competence-based and you are required to produce a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Important stuff

There are no formal entry requirements for the qualification; however, you must be able to demonstrate that you can meet the skills, knowledge and experience requirements of the NVQ before enrolment. This will be done via ‘Skill Scan’ to confirm your suitability for the course prior to being accepted.

You must have good written and spoken English

You will also need access to a computer/ laptop and must have the capabilities to access our e-portfolio and have a Zoom account with a stable Internet connection

You have 2 Years to complete the qualification. The average completion time 6 months but can be completed in as little as 2 months.

Feedback regarding your progress will be provided via our e-portfolio

Your assessor will provide support throughout the assessment process to ensure timely completion of your NVQ.
