Level 6 NVQ Occupational Health & Safety

Our NVQ courses are delivered online as distance learning. You will receive your own dedicated account manager who can be contacted by email or phone for help, advice and to answer any questions you might have. You will also receive access to a personalised e-portfolio with a percentage indicator to track your progression throughout the course.

Our Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice qualification is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. The aim is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence of individuals who are responsible for developing and applying health and safety procedures day-to-day in their organisation. You may be a staff member, supervisor or manager looking to improve their knowledge and skills

This NVQ provides you with a formal recognition for working in Health & Safety comparable to a Bachelor Degree.

Our qualification is developed in partnership with The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

A huge benefit of this qualification is that upon successful completion you will be able to apply for a  CSCS black card (construction candidates only) and access to Graduate IOSH Membership (Grad IOSH)

Natural progression from this qualification would be to consider our ‘Become a Consultant’
How it Works

You will be given access to a personalised e-portfolio which will have a % indicator to track your progression and introduced to your Account Manager who will be available by email or phone.

This qualification is competence-based and you are required to produce a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

• Record of oral and/or written questioning

Important stuff

There are no formal entry requirements for the qualification; however, you must be able to demonstrate that you can meet the skills, knowledge and experience requirements of the NVQ before enrolment. This will be done via ‘Skill Scan’ to confirm your suitability for the course prior to being accepted.

You must have good written and spoken English

You will also need access to a computer/ laptop and must have the capabilities to access our e-portfolio and have a Zoom account with a stable Internet connection

You have 2 Years to complete the qualification. The average completion time 9 months but can be completed in as little as 2 months

Feedback regarding your progress will be provided via our e-portfolio

Your assessor will provide support throughout the assessment process to ensure timely completion of your NVQ.
