Our Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management qualification is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. It provides you with a nationally recognised qualification for those working at a senior manager level in a wide range of job roles in the construction industry. Your current skills set should include technical knowledge, people management skills, procurement, forecasting, quality assurance and have an understanding of the financial management of construction projects.  

This NVQ provides you with a formal recognition practicing as a senior site manager, project manager or company director

Our qualification also provides access to membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) via the ‘Shortened Review’ process.

A huge benefit of this qualification is that upon successful completion you will be able to apply for a CSCS Black Managers Card.

Once enrolled onto our qualification you will be able to apply for the Red Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager CSCS card right. This card is issued on a temporary basis and demonstrates that you are working towards an NVQ. The card is valid for three  year and cannot be renewed and you must also have passed the appropriate level CITB Health, safety and environment (HSE) test within the last two years.

How it Works

You will be given access to a personalised e-portfolio which will have a % indicator to track your progression and introduced to your Account Manager who will be available by email or phone.

This qualification is competence-based and you are required to produce a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Important stuff

There are no formal entry requirements for the qualification; however, you must be able to demonstrate that you can meet the skills, knowledge and experience requirements of the NVQ before enrolment. This will be done via ‘Skill Scan’ to confirm your suitability for the course prior to being accepted.

You must have good written and spoken English

You will also need access to a computer/ laptop and must have the capabilities to access our e-portfolio and have a Zoom account with a stable Internet connection

You have 2 Years to complete the qualification. The average completion time 12 months but can be completed in as little as 6 months.

Feedback regarding your progress will be provided via our e-portfolio

Your assessor will provide support throughout the assessment process to ensure timely completion of your NVQ.
